This unique fundraising event will take place on Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 10:30am – 12:00pm at Luck Bros. Coffee House, 1101 W. 1st Ave in Grandview. Acacia Duncan is our featured barista from Luck Bros. Coffee House and will demonstrate how to consistently brew coffee in a way that maximizes the extraction of desirable flavors while minimizing the extraction of flavor that is undesirable. You will learn the answers to many questions: What desirable and undesirable flavors should you look out for? What conditions are the most preferred by your specific coffee taste? Where do great coffees of the world come from? … and many other great, simple tips to take home with you. What happens at this event? * Coffee tasting of several coffees made with various brew techniques. * Complementary treats prepared by our featured chef, Brian Pawlak of DeepWood restaurant. * WOSU production of coffee demonstration for TV broadcast * A rare coffee take-home from Luck Bros. Coffee House and Intelligentsia. * Exclusive opportunity to bid on and win a luxurious OSU vs. Michigan tailgate package! At the event, you will also be part of a special WOSU TV production showcasing Luck Bros. barista, Acacia Duncan.
